Canada’s Quintessential Voyageur Canoe

The fur trade, Voyageur Canoes, muscular, musical Voyageurs, and Lake Superior’s rugged and inspiring coast have been instrumental in enriching our nation’s heritage. Without that exuberant trade in furs necessary to make hats for English gentlemen to display status and find favour with the fairer sex, Canada would not be as we know it.

Our Voyageur Canoe is a fiberglass replica of the birch bark original. At 36 feet long and 5 feet wide you can swan dive from the side! She comfortably carries 14 paddlers plus a “ton” of gear. She sails well too. No paddling experience is necessary.
