Come enjoy a fantastic relaxing stay at Rock Island Lodge - the only waterfront accommodation on Lake Superior for hundreds of kilometers of coastline! There are no phones in the rooms (we do have a phone in the lodge for use) and no TV - just the sound of waves and the stunning view of Lake Superior. Two of our rooms have 1 double bed and 1 queen; and two have one double and one single bed. Cots are available if needed. All rooms are fully equipped with 3-piece bathrooms.  Wireless internet is available throughout the lodge.

All of our guests have access to our main room, which has comfy couches to curl up on, a warm fireplace and picture windows overlooking Superior - providing views of an expansive landscape, awe-inspiring storms and spectacular sunsets.

We offer family-style meals on-site. We can accommodate even the most finicky taste buds, special diets and most allergies. Our meals consist of fresh foods with minimal processing and we try to eat organic whenever we can. Local fishermen supply us with Lake Superior whitefish and trout but feel free to test your line on some salmon from the river.

Despite the lack of TV, there's still lots to keep guests of all ages and dispositions entertained. For the more adventurous, sign up for a half or full day kayak or canoe lesson, rent a boat and explore on your own, or take a hike on one of the local trails - many of which boast lovely waterfalls. For the more sedate guest, enjoy a good book in a lounge chair on our front deck, laze on the beach or simply soak up the sounds of Superior.

We have put some Vacation Packages together for 2-day, 3-day and 5-day holidays. Customize the package to your liking based on the activities that you would like to do.

*Cancellation Policy:
As you can appreciate, we only have 4 rooms so your cancellation equates to us losing 25% of our room bookings.  We've put together a cancellation policy that we think is fair and reasonable.

20% or $35 NON-REFUNDABLE reservation deposit required upon booking.  Full payment is due at check-in.  Cancellations the day of and no-shows are charged one night's accommodation.
